CHA Relocation

When I talk to people about my dissertation work, the most common question I get is: "Where did everyone go when all that public housing was torn down?"

Here is what the CHA reports:






In addition to the above locations, 71 households moved out of Chicago. 12 of these households moved to Riverdale, 11 moved out of state, and the rest moved to a variety of other suburbs, typically south and southwest of Chicago.
